Hempel is seeking an experienced Coating Advisor to join the Technical Services team in Mexico. The role involves delivering technical advice, supporting sales with product configurations, and conducting technical analyses for customer-specific pricing.

You will prepare technical briefings, research specifications, and estimate costs and requirements for modifications. This position requires extensive travel and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Formación

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Coating Advisor in a technical service role (rail, marine or oil and gas a plus).
• Experience with airless pumps & plural component preferred.
• Certifications such as NACE, FROSIO, ABRACO, or IARCOR are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the paint and coatings industry.
• Technologically proficient and comfortable using digital reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical advice and support to sales teams and conduct technical analyses of product configurations.
• Prepare and conduct technical sales briefings for customers and company representatives.
• Research customer technical specifications and estimate costs, resources, time, and requirements for modifying, configuring, and installing products or solutions.
• Evaluate sales proposals for technical accuracy and alignment with quality standards.
• Fulfills assigned projects per Work Orders and travels up to 85% domestically and internationally.
