LyondellBasell in Mexico is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide focused technical support on processing and performance of supplied plastics, develop new applications, and communicate across cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong injection molding knowledge, independent work, travel up to 50%, and collaboration with sales, development, and customers to drive process optimization and program launches.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Plastics, Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years in a technical environment such as R&D, Manufacturing, Application Development, Plastic Processing.
• Proven experience in process and troubleshooting methods in plastic injection molding.

Responsabilidades

• Provide focused technical support on processing and performance of supplied products.
• Assist in developing new applications with new and existing plastic compounds.
• Gather market trend information to support technical innovation and value creation.
• Manage communications between Customer, Sales Account Manager, New Business Development, and TDE for assigned projects.
• Travel, sometimes exceeding 50% of the time.
