briefCASE Legal Support, LLC is seeking an experienced Case Manager to lead a team of Legal Assistants supporting DJC Law, PLLC, a Texas-based personal injury firm. This remote, full-time role involves directing workflows, maintaining quality standards, and delivering efficient, client-focused legal support.

You will supervise, mentor, and collaborate with US-based attorneys, drive process improvements, and manage KPIs to ensure timely case progression and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of legal assistant or comparable legal support experience.
• Two to three years supervisory or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, case management, and documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based personal injury law firm.
• Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Legal Assistants through training and feedback.
• Monitor case progress, assign tasks, and ensure quality and compliance.
• Oversee pre-litigation and litigation workflows and case preparation.
• Track KPIs, evaluate team performance, and address concerns.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to meet client needs and service levels.
• Identify workflow improvements and assist with resource planning.
