Job summary

Overseas is seeking an outbound email copywriter to lead the strategy and execution of cold email campaigns for a fast-growing B2B sales intelligence platform. You will research ICPs, craft copy angles, write sequences, and optimize campaigns with a focus on real results across SMB verticals.

This is a writing-first, remote role requiring strong English writing and a proven ability to drive opens, replies, and meetings.

Qualifications

• Substantial B2B outbound email experience with campaigns that generated replies and meetings.
• Ability to research ICPs, identify genuine pain points, and tailor copy angles.
• Proven track record with A/B testing and optimizing copy based on data.
• Experience writing cold emails for B2B SaaS, sales intelligence, or data platforms.
• Excellent written English with concise, human tone.

Responsibilities

• Research ICPs and craft copy strategy for SMB verticals.
• Write cold email sequences from subject to follow-ups and optimize cadence.
• Conduct A/B tests of subject lines, openings, CTAs, and sequence structures.
• Collaborate with GTM and sales to align messaging and document results.
