This role will provide expert guidance on regional operations, ensure alignment with global standards, support complex issue resolution, and drive the adoption of consistent processes and best practices. You will work closely with operational leaders, key users, functional teams, and regional stakeholders to improve performance, strengthen controls, and support business transitions and transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport SCP (New Lead Logistics Platform) migrations and implementation activities for new and existing customers, ensuring operational readiness, business adoption, and seamless onboarding.Act as the regional subject matter expert for assigned operational processes, systems, and ways of workingProvide guidance to operational teams and stakeholders on process execution, standards, controls, and business requirementsDrive process standardization across countries and locations while identifying and managing justified local exceptionsMonitor operational KPIs, service levels, quality indicators, and process compliance; identify gaps and coordinate corrective actionsLead root-cause analysis and support the resolution of complex operational issues and escalationsMaintain and improve SOPs, work instructions, process maps, training materials, and knowledge documentationSupport business transitions, new process implementations, system changes, and stabilization activitiesIdentify opportunities for automation, simplification, waste reduction, and continuous improvement through Lean and Kaizen methodologiesFacilitate training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing sessions for key users and operational teamsPartner with regional and global stakeholders to ensure operational priorities are aligned with customer and business needsSupport audits, controls, governance reviews, and compliance activities by providing process expertise and documentationRepresent the regional user community in process governance forums and transformation projectsThe BasicsAcademic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related fieldYears of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in lead logistics, customer experience, supply chain, terminal, or shared-service operations, including experience as a process expert, super user, or operational leadSoftware: ERP or operational systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and reporting or visualization tools; experience with Power BI is a plusTechnical Skills: End-to-end process knowledge, KPI management, root-cause analysis, SOP development, process governance, and continuous improvementEnglish Level: B2–C1, with the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and seniority levelsCompetenciesStrong Stakeholder ManagementOperational Excellence MindsetAnalytical Thinking and Structured Problem SolvingInfluence Without AuthorityClear Communication and FacilitationCustomer FocusOwnership and AccountabilityAdaptability and ResilienceCollaboration Across Cultures and FunctionsContinuous Improvement and Change ManagementWhat We OfferAt Maersk, we offer exciting global career opportunities that foster both professional and personal growth.
