Job summary

HP is seeking a LaserJet Regional Engineer to act as the regional technical authority for LaserJet products. You will oversee escalations, drive RCA, and work cross-functionally with Global Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Field Operations to improve fleet stability and customer satisfaction.

You will provide technical guidance, training, and readiness support to field and partner teams, analyze failure trends, and lead corrective actions to enhance service performance across the region.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Typically more than 4 years of work experience in supply chain, operations, or technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops solutions for supply chain projects and manages complex issues.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for HP LaserJet products regionally.
• Own end-to-end issue resolution for hardware, firmware, and print-quality problems escalated from country teams.
• Provide diagnosis for fusers, imaging units, toner systems, controllers, and paper handling.
• Validate and support new LaserJet launches; conduct readiness assessments and monitoring.
• Lead regional escalations and RCA for repeat or high-impact failures.
• Coordinate corrective actions with Global Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Develop and deliver technical trainings, service notes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Certify partners on new platforms and technologies.
• Ensure service consistency and adherence to HP repair standards regionally.
• Analyze failure trends and warranty data to identify systemic issues.
• Support CAPA to improve product reliability.
• Translate field problems into actionable engineering feedback for regional and global teams.
• Identify opportunities to simplify repairs and reduce service time.
• Propose tooling, diagnostics, or process improvements; support remote diagnostics and analytics.
