ABB in Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Specialist to support the deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit. You will lead testing, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with electro-mechanical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and robust processes.

The role demands a engineering background, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and demonstrated leadership of blue-collar staff. Onsite shift rotation may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 3–5 years in similar roles; Electrification/electrical components knowledge is a plus.
• Strong written & spoken communication skills.
• Experience coordinating blue-collar staff and leading teams.
• Proficiency with RCA, A3, DMAIC, 8D methodologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic English level.

Responsabilidades

• Resource allocation: allocate resources to meet inspection targets and optimize capacity.
• Production scheduling and testing plan aligned with demand plan to meet volume requirements.
• Identify equipment/facility improvements and oversee implementation.
• Execute testing to ensure quality and on-time delivery for assigned products.
• Identify and drive process improvements to testing efficiency.
• Resolve critical line issues with relevant teams and quality specialists.
• Lead and develop the team; coordinate with HR on staffing and training.
• Collaborate with HSE and Quality teams to ensure compliance for hourly employees.

Main stakeholders are ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders.You will be mainly accountable for:Resource allocation: Organizes and allocates resources to effectively and efficiently meet inspection rate targets. Responds to resource issues as necessary. Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the testing area.Production scheduling and testing plan: Executes testing plan accordingly to production plan to meet the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan.Equipment and facilities: Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.Testing execution: Ensures execution of quality testing of equipment, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned complexity of the product.Operations improvement: Identifies deficiencies in testing process efficiency, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve testing performance.Critical line issues: Manages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams /respective quality specialist.People leadership and development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. (+20)Be able of develop the analysis of the issues detected during the assembly process in order to ensure the high quality of the product.
