Job summary

WS Audiology is seeking a seasoned Ops Project Leader in Mexico (Baja California, Tijuana) to steer and finalize manufacturing and operations projects. You will drive on-time delivery within budget and quality, promote process efficiency and cross-functional teamwork, and influence stakeholders to form strong project initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management with expertise in SCM, finance, and electronics/medical device industries, plus strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related professional experience.
• Excellent project management skills and familiar with Project Management Methodologies.
• Experience managing teams in resource and asset management.
• Good understanding of SCM framework and Operations structure.
• Background in electronics manufacturing / medical device / technology industry is a plus.
• Strong Operations finance knowledge.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in both preparation and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Steering of Ops Project Activities: overall management of projects on time, budget, and quality; promote end-to-end process efficiency; foster teamwork and avoid silos; cultivate ideas and influence stakeholders; collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Deploy project methodology to manage activities: build business case and economic analysis; develop project budget; liaise with suppliers/customers; form project team and align measures; develop detailed project plan; ensure resources; assess risks and mitigation; track benefits and financials; keep stakeholders updated.
• Promote PMP usage and share experiences across PM network; proactively synergize with other projects.

Steering of Ops Project Activities:

1. Overall management of Ops projects on time / budget / quality;


2. Actively engaged in promoting project end process efficiency;


3. Promote team work and avoid silos practices;


4. Cultivate project ideas and influence stakeholders to formulate projects;


5. Expect to work with cross-function teams in a fast-paced environment

Deploy project methodology to manage activities such as:

1. Build business case and conduct economic analysis;


2. Develop project budget;


3. Liaise with external suppliers / customers if needed;


4. Form project team & align with measure owner;


5. Develop detailed project plan;


6. Ensure resource availability & allocation;


7. Assess risks and develop mitigation plans;


8. Follow up on project benefits and financials;


9. Keep project team, measure owner and stakeholders updated through regular communications

Promote the use of PMP and continously work on improving it. Share experiences across the PM network and proactively work to synergize with other projects
