Sanmina in Mexico is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to direct multiple IT projects, drive process improvements, and ensure successful delivery from initiation to closure.
The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or IT, PMP/CAPM beneficial, 5+ years in manufacturing context, strong stakeholder management, risk budgeting, and familiarity with ERP/MES/WMS systems; proficiency with Jira or similar PM tools is expected.
Education: Bachelors Degree (Industrial engineer, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems).
PMLC (Project Life cycle Management): Proven ability to lead projects through all phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, closure).
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kan-ban, or Lean is highly valuable in today's fast-paced environment.
Risk Management: A track record of identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential project risks.
Budget Management: Experience in developing and managing project budgets, including cost control and forecasting.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels (clients, team members, sponsors).
Team Leadership: Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
This role will be responsible for project management of a number of projects in one or more IT portfolios within the IT global business services team. Projects will range in size and complexity and will focus on specific business areas or functions. Some will involve business process change and IT aspects. Projects may target productivity improvement, cost reduction, total cost of ownership reduction (through improved system architecture) and/or compliance enhancement.
You will be expected to work closely with business stakeholders and become a trusted advisor in technology, solutions development and process improvement execution. You will work collaboratively & cross-functionally to manage successful execution of all approved and agreed projects. You will also be working closely with both the business & IT leadership team to regularly report progress and status.
