Ensambles del Pacífico, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Tijuana, Mexico, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead manufacturing initiatives from development through implementation, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate client requirements into actionable plans, monitor risk, maintain quality and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement across operations. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial/mechanical/process engineering; Master's preferred.
• Advanced project management methodologies knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• English proficiency at 80% or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing projects from development to implementation.
• Monitor project progress and adjust strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve as primary client liaison, translating needs into actions for the team.
• Maintain regular client communication and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure resources are available and aligned with objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety standards and regulations (ISO, etc.).
• Coordinate project quality audits and drive improvements.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and apply continuous improvement.
• Document lessons learned and propose process adjustments.

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing projects from the development phase through implementation, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets.

2. Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.

3. Serve as the primary liaison with the client to understand their needs and technical requirements, translating those needs into specific actions for the manufacturing team.

4. Maintain fluid communication with the client, providing regular updates and managing expectations regarding project progress.

5. Collaborate with the engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams to ensure correct project execution and alignment of objectives.

6. Ensure all teams have the necessary resources and are aligned with project objectives and deadlines.

7. Ensure projects comply with established quality and safety standards, as well as applicable regulations (ISO, safety standards, etc.).

8. Coordinate project quality audits and reviews, implementing improvements as needed.

9. Conduct periodic project performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and applying continuous improvement practices.

10. Document key lessons learned from each project and propose process adjustments to optimize future projects.

Required experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in project management or similar roles in the manufacturing industry.

Required education:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field. (Master's degree in project management preferred)

Skills / Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of project management, methodologies, etc.
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes and quality and safety requirements in the industry.
