Job summary

Flex is seeking a Project Manager to join the Guadalajara, North Campus team. You will drive complex projects, align with DNA strategy, and oversee transfers between manufacturing sites, reporting to the Sr Director Operations.

You will establish schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers and management to meet cost, delivery, and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is preferred.
• Experience in similar role managing projects; CPS knowledge, layouts, and space planning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing projects and processes, including SMT, molding, and metal fabrication.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Familiarity with business-level project management processes and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements, from initiation through transfer.
• Communicate customer requirements, specifications, schedule, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams.
• Gather, consolidate & analyze data from Industrial engineering team.
• Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.
• Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring adherence to requirements and cost control.
• Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables.
• Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules.
• Assist in the management of larger projects/programs.
• Provide advice to lower-level Project/Product Managers to achieve goals.
• Recommend changes to policies which may affect subordinate organization(s).
• Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers.
• May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and professionals.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Project Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus Reporting to the Sr Director Operations the Project Manager will drive complex projects of in order to meet performance indicators (cost, delivery, quality, etc.) of a specific organization. Responsible for managing the DNA strategy, focused on aligning and consolidating projects across business segments, customers, and operational processes. Oversees project planning related to facility space (Lauoyt), business growth, capacity expansion, and the transfer of projects between manufacturing sites.

What a typical day looks like:

• Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements, managing project from initiation through transfer.
• Communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedule, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management, and consultants.
• Gather, consolidate & analyze data from Industrial engineering team.
• Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.
• Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring project team is meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.
• Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables.
• Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
• Assist in the management of larger projects/programs.
• Provide advice to lower-level Project/Product Managers to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
• Recommend changes to policies which may affect subordinate organization(s).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is preferred.
• Consistent experience in similar role, managing projects Knowledge of CPS, facility layouts, and space planning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing projects and processes, including SMT, molding, and metal fabrication.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Familiarity with business-level project management processes and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
