Job summary

ABB in San Pedro, Nuevo Leon is seeking a Project Manager to support the Sales organization during proposals and lead multiple electrical projects across commercial sectors. You will be a key technical resource, preparing costed technical descriptions and final submittals for customers while coordinating with staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience as a project manager in electrical, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, SAP (ERP), and Microsoft Project.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience managing 15+ simultaneous projects (including low-voltage products and construction projects).
• Experience in stakeholder management (interacting with clients and external partners).
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Marketing & Sales Electrification Segment in San Pedro, Nuevo Leon.You will be mainly accountable for:Offers technical advice and provides comment on specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB products/systems/applications.Plans and implements multiple simultaneous electrical projects at various customer work sites in the US, including the activities of staff and subcontractors. Identifies and manages opportunities to expand projects in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy profitability requirements, including change orders. Electrical projects will be focused in the commercial construction markets and may include, but are not limited to, retail, airports, entertainment, hospitals, education (schools, colleges, universities), multi-story residential and Data Centers.Serves as the primary customer contact for the duration of each project.
