Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Mexico. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while developing people and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, 2–4 years on MMC production lines, and 2–4 years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and lean knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in MMC Production lines.
• 2 to 4 years of experience leading and/or supervising personnel.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production personnel, drive team performance, and manage the overall administration of assigned staff.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, output, and business unit goals.
• Monitor production flow, resolve operational issues, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensure the training and certification of assigned personnel, and guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in core team and quality meetings to support plant objectives and metrics.
• Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, productivity, and new product/process introductions.
