Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Reynosa, MX is seeking a procurement professional to manage components, tooling, and indirect materials for new products.

You will collaborate with established suppliers to ensure timely delivery, lead-time adherence, and proper PAPSO sign-off as part of Johnson Controls Product Development Process. You will coordinate quotes for startup materials, set up components in MRP/ERP, and maintain tracking spreadsheets while resolving discrepancies and expediting orders as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in purchasing, material planning, or production control is recommended under little or no supervision.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a team environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Procure all new product components, tooling, and indirect materials that meet operation requirements.
• Ensure Best Price Analysis is received on time with correct lead times and minimum order quantities.
• Collaborate with new suppliers for PAPSO and vendor qualification per development process.
• Quote startup materials and place POs to cover 3 months of ramp up; establish blanket orders.
• Set up new components in MRP/ERP linked to assigned rank 1 vendor.
• Maintain a material availability spreadsheet and adjust for ECs during release.
