Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a raw material procurement specialist in Matamoros to manage purchasing activities, monitor inventory, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to avoid production disruption.

You will use SAP and planning data to support purchase orders, track open items, and follow up on deliveries, shortages, and lead times, while building strong supplier relationships and contributing to cost control and timely completions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in raw material purchasing or procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, MRP, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Advanced intermediate English proficiency for collaboration with international suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Manage raw material purchasing activities and monitor inventory needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to avoid production disruptions.
• Release purchase orders based on MRP signals and inventory requirements.
• Track open orders and resolve delays with suppliers.
• Maintain SAP data for lead times, order quantities, and deliveries.
• Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and suppliers to meet goals.
