Job summary

Siemens Energy invites a Procurement Expeditor for Gas Services to help ensure timely delivery of materials and components by proactive supplier follow-ups, PO confirmations, and shipping information management to protect project schedules.

You will collaborate with buyers, suppliers, logistics and internal customers, maintain accurate order data in SAP, and escalate delivery risks as needed while supporting cross-functional project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Business, Engineering or a related field.
• NO MORE THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in procurement, supply chain, logistics, order management or supplier follow up
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, delivery dates, shipping documentation and supplier communication
• Knowledge of SAP
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Valid passport and U.S. Visa
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Monitor open purchase orders and drive timely order confirmations, delivery-date updates and shipping information
• Folow up proactively with suppliers to identify and prevent potential delivery delays
• Maintain accurate purchase order and shiping information in SAP and other procurement sustems as applicable
• Communicate delivery risks, missing updates and supplier concerns to the responsible buyer and support escalation plans
• Respond to internal customer requests and provide clear and tomely status updates on critical orders
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and cross-functional teams to support material availability and project execution
