Job summary

Siemens Energy in Mexico City is offering a Procurement Training Program for graduates and early-career professionals. You will analyze project scope and procurement requirements, support compliance with procedures, and contribute to cost optimization through market analysis and supplier evaluations.

You will help develop procurement plans, support supplier sourcing activities, and prepare cost analyses and reporting tools to aid bidding and project execution, while ensuring adherence to EHS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Exposure to procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related business functions is advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word; SAP knowledge is desirable.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Familiarity with supplier sourcing, Incoterms, imports, and free trade agreements.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project scope and procurement requirements.
• Support compliance with procurement procedures and policies while identifying process improvements.
• Support cost optimization by analyzing market conditions, supplier proposals, and commercial strategies.
• Assist in developing procurement plans, supplier sourcing activities, and supplier development initiatives.
• Prepare cost analyses, pricing statistics, and reporting tools to support bidding and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy's EHS, Quality, and Procurement policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Previous internship, academic project, extracurricular activity, or exposure to procurement, sourcing, supply chain, commercial operations, or related business functions is considered an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros. Ability to process and analyze data, generate reports and statistics, and perform cost analyses. SAP knowledge is desirable
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of supplier sourcing, commodity market trends (copper, steel, etc.), Incoterms, imports, and free trade agreements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective written and verbal communication, teamwork, proactivity, flexibility, sense of urgency, self-management, and interest in the commercial aspects of projects involving Sales, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
