Job summary

Jabil in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, seeks a technical lead to support manufacturing from design transfer to production, ensuring adherence to procedures and product quality. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong PC skills, and experience with SAP and Jabil software. You will train operators and support new product introductions across equipment lines.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a Windows-based PC and related software; knowledge of Jabil software packages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and manufacturing for transferring customer documents to the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interpret assembly drawings and work with assemblers to create assembly work instructions.
• Assist engineering in determining tools and processes required for assembly.
• Establish routing requirements and data entry into QM Module.
• Implement correct status entry into SAP.
• Provide Train The Trainer sessions for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Assist in transitioning new products and prototypes to the manufacturing floor for specific equipment lines.
• Review labor standards for costing/re-pricing and assist with labor quotes.
• Assist in up-front planning for creation of assembly work instructions.
• Assist in implementation of ECO, ECR, BOM and problem feedback into manufacturing.
• Order stencils per Jabil Circuit design guidelines.
