Job summary

Jabil, a global leader in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions, seeks a technical leader to support manufacturing processes and ensure quality and efficiency in assembly. The role involves working with engineering to transfer customer documents to production and developing clear assembly work instructions.

You will interpret drawings, train operators, and collaborate with teams on tools, routing, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software packages.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between engineering and manufacturing for transferring customer documents to production.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interpret assembly drawings for production teams.
• Create and update assembly work instructions with assemblers.
• Identify tools and processes needed for assembly with engineering.
• Enter routing standards and data into QM Module; implement SAP status updates.
• Provide Train The Trainer sessions for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Support transition of new products to manufacturing lines for specific equipment.
• Review labor standards for cost reconsideration and pricing adjustments.
• Assist in labor quoting and upfront planning for work instruction creation.
• Assist in ECO/ECR/BOM and issue resolution workflows.
