Job summary

Jabil is seeking a manufacturing engineering liaison to provide technical support for production, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards. You will guide the transfer of customer documents to manufacturing, interpret drawings, and help implement assembly processes on the floor.

The role includes training, tooling planning, and collaboration with engineering during new product introductions and prototype runs.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers or customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Experience with Windows-based software and SAP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly-related instructions.

Responsibilities

• Liaises between engineering and manufacturing for transfer of customer documents.
• Provides technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interprets assembly drawings and creates work instructions.
• Assists in selecting tools and processes for assembly.
• Enters routing data and implements SAP status updates.
• Trains operators on manufacturing processes and equipment.
