Job summary
Flex is looking for a Process Engineer at the Aguascalientes Site, Mexico to support cost, quality and delivery improvements across manufacturing processes. You’ll work under the Operations Engineering Manager to enhance process capabilities and drive efficiency in a high technology electronics environment.
Your day includes defining manufacturable designs, evaluating processos, and leading capital equipment initiatives while collaborating with production teams during new technology transfers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in engineering in high technology electronics.
- Experience with PCBA.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Conversational English.
- Experience in NPI and Mass Production.
- IPC knowledge and PPAP/IATF familiarity is a plus.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
- Automation knowledge and PLCs understanding.
Responsibilities
- Identify manufacturability improvements and define new process designs.
- Lead capital equipment justification, purchase and transfer to production.
- Develop robust process controls and documentation for new processes.
- Troubleshoot process issues and drive cycle time reductions.
- Interface with production during new technology transfers.
- Support training of production personnel on new equipment and methods.
- Participate in ECOs and cost-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure quality, cost and delivery improvements in daily operations.
