Job summary
Flex in Aguascalientes, Mexico is seeking a Process Engineer to support our electronics manufacturing operations, focusing on cost, quality and delivery improvements.
You will lead process development, capital equipment, ECOs, and transfer of new processes while collaborating with production and engineering teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, PLC/PCBA experience, IPC/IATF knowledge, and strong Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Full experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
- Full experience with PCBA.
- Knowledge in Excel.
- Conversational English.
- Previous experience in similar roles (Electronics Industry).
- Experience in NPI and Mass Production.
- Knowledge of control and fix systems.
- IPC knowledge.
- IATF knowledge is a plus.
- PPAP process knowledge is a plus.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
- Automation knowledge
- Knowledge in PLCS
Responsibilities
- Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
- Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
- Participate in daily production activities and problem solving.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Oversee new process equipment production and ECOs.
- Establish robust, repeatable process parameters and control methodologies.
- Troubleshoot process related issues and drive cycle time improvements.
- Evaluate and select engineered materials; implement process documentation.
- Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer.
- Provide training to production personnel for new technology transfer.
