Flextronics in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Product Engineer to support manufacturing operations on a shift or group of lines, driving volume, quality, and cost goals. You will lead product transfer, new product setup, and address engineering issues on the production floor.

This role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, experience in electronic manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and conversational English. Knowledge of NPI, SAP/Baan, and shop floor systems is preferred.

• Experience in electronic/manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel knowledge and data handling.
• Conversational English required.

Responsabilités

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by addressing engineering issues on the line.
• Suggest process improvements to improve quality and yield.
• Solve product-related problems and perform failure evaluation.
• Interact with customers and departments on product issues.
• Work with design team to resolve design issues and modify work instructions as needed.
• Review BOM structure for production and define material changes.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with specs.
• Identify safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Request drawing corrections and measurement methods from customers.
• Manage Engineering Changes Implementation.
• Conduct DFM, tolerance evaluation, and DOE to define root cause.
• Provide support to supply chain for localization or vertical integration.
• Provide product training to manufacturing/process engineers.
