Flex in Guadalajara is seeking a Process Engineer to strengthen our PCBA manufacturing capability, with emphasis on SMT, PTH and conformal coating processes. You will own process control, validate NPI designs, and lead improvements to cost, quality and delivery in a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing (SMT & PTH).
• Experience with conformal coating is mandatory.
• NPI projects and cross-functional team experience desired.
• Proficiency in problem-solving using 5 Why's, Ishikawa, DMAIC, PDCA and 8D.

Responsabilidades

• Track downtime, scrap and line performance metrics.
• Participate in client meetings and NPI reviews.
• Define, implement and evaluate manufacturability designs and processes.
• Develop and own process control methodologies.
• Prepare capital equipment justifications and oversee new equipment.

Solder paste printing stencil design

Reflow oven profiles

Wave solder pallets/profiles

Cross Functional Teams (CFTs)

Problem-solving (5 Whys, Ishikawa, DMA

DFMs/diagrams presentations to clients

English proficiency

Microsoft Office skills
