Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, BC, Mexico, is seeking a Procurement Professional to oversee the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials and to drive cost-effective procurement solutions. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure policy compliance and continuous process improvements.

You will execute RFPs, supplier negotiations, and PO management, monitor performance, and analyze procurement data to support strategic decisions.

Formación

• University degree in business/related field with 5+ years experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years)
• 3+ years SAP procurement or ERP experience in SCM environment (Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX/PRISM)
• 3+ years managing end-to-end procurement processes (RFPs, negotiations, contracts)
• Advanced proficiency in English

Responsabilidades

• Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations with timely communication.
• Manage sourcing activities to procure goods, materials, supplies, and services with compliant terms.

What You Will Do:

• Execute procurement processes, including RFP (Request for Proposal) preparation, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and purchase order management, to align with organizationalobjectives.

• Respond to client inquiriesregardingorder status, changes, or cancellations, ensuringhigh levelsof customer satisfaction andtimelycommunication.

• Manage sourcing activities toprocuregoods, materials, supplies, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and securing favorable terms.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering,Logisticsor a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs (Request for Proposal), supplier negotiations, and contract oversight.

• Advancedproficiencyin English

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong communicationskills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English.

• Experience analyzing supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance, and resolving delivery issues.

• Experience with SAP (Procurement functions, MRP, Business Warehouse, or Business Objects).

• Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in procurement and supply chain processes.

• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, with a focus on ensuring compliance.
