Collins Aerospace seeks a Procurement Professional to manage the procure‑to‑pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely purchasing aligned with Supply Chain objectives.

The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement, maintain policy compliance, and support continuous process improvements in aerospace procurement.

Formación

• University degree in business administration, international business, industrial engineering, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement/SAP or ERP systems.
• Advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify qualified suppliers leveraging existing agreements.
• Manage PO lifecycle from requisition to invoice for indirect materials.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing/delivery terms.
• Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations.
• Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with policies.
• Support supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms.
• Document POs per company procedures.
• Ensure timely orders to meet turn times.
• Communicate effectively with requisitioners and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate as a team member on additional projects.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.

What You Will Do

• Identifyqualified suppliers for requirements,fully leveraging existing agreements;
• Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment forassigned commodities within the Indirectteam;
• Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and coststrategies;
• Analyze supplier quotes and makes sourcing recommendations sourcing decisions
• Ensureproduct on-time delivery to schedule
• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, leadtimeand terms & conditions
• Complete purchase order documentationin accordance withcompany policies and procedures
• Ensuretimelyplacement of orders to support business needs and meet team defined turntimes;
• Strong communicationskills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups
• Ability to work as a team member independently based onadditionalprojects as assigned to supportSupply Chain organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM
• Advanced proficiency in English

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in SAP and Ariba (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies.
• Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) purchasing, including sourcing and procurement.

Remote

Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
