Collins Aerospace in Mexicali seeks a Procurement Professional to oversee the indirect materials Procure-to-Pay process and support operational needs.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement, maintain policy compliance, and contribute to continuous process improvements in aerospace procurement.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration or related field with relevant procurement experience.
• 2+ years in procurement, focusing on indirect materials and P2P processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Identify qualified suppliers and leverage existing agreements.
• Manage PO process from requisition to payment for indirect commodities.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery.
• Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations.
• Ensure on-time product delivery to schedule.
• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms.
• Complete PO documentation per policies.
• Ensure timely placement of orders to meet turntimes.
• Communicate effectively with requisitioners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team on additional projects supporting Supply Chain.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.

What You Will Do:

• Identifyqualified suppliers for requirements,fully leveraging existing agreements;
• Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment forassigned commodities within the Indirectteam;
• Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and coststrategies;
• Analyze supplier quotes and makes sourcing recommendations sourcing decisions
• Ensureproduct on-time delivery to schedule
• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, leadtimeand terms & conditions
• Complete purchase order documentationin accordance withcompany policies and procedures
• Ensuretimelyplacement of orders to support business needs and meet team defined turntimes;
• Strong communicationskills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups
• Ability to work as a team member independently based onadditionalprojects as assigned to supportSupply Chain organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM
• Advanced proficiency in English

Qualifications We Preferred:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies.
• Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
