Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Engineer in Mexico City to support pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will be the primary technical resource on customer calls, qualify leads, and guide deployments across LAN/WAN, wireless, and security solutions.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, site surveys, and customer-facing communication. You will collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex issues and drive successful integrations.

Formación

• Experience in field sales and pre-sales engineering.
• Strong LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Experience with Wireless technologies and site surveys.
• Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies.
• Strong DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP knowledge.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, IDS, Antivirus.
• Familiar with RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, Firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Experience with encryption/authentication technologies.
• Certifications CCIE and CISSP are a plus.
• Pre-sales: qualify leads from a technical standpoint.
• Sales calls: main technical resource on calls and educate on features/specs.
• Conversant with networking applications/solutions.
• Post-sales: lead technical contact for identified accounts with engineering support.
• Assist in identifying customers for post-sales training.
