AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer in Puebla, Mexico to design and scale core infrastructure. You will build reliable platform services, manage AWS and Kubernetes resources, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

The role emphasizes distributed architecture, AI-native tooling, and close partnership with leadership to guide infrastructure initiatives and enable rapid company growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience, including service mesh knowledge.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, etc.).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code/Claude Cowork or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support growth.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with a focus on security.
• Implement best practices and tools to streamline development processes.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders including leadership.
