Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Data Eng/related STEM fields or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL with distributed processing and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, catalogs, lineage, and data quality.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Lake, Spark or equivalents.
• Experience building secure APIs and enterprise-grade tools.
• Experience with RBAC and least-privilege security.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, scalable data platform and governance automation.
• Build automated controls for metadata, ownership, lineage, data quality, access, and policy enforcement.
• Develop secure APIs, MCP tools, and enterprise integrations for AI-enabled apps.
• Design reusable, configuration-driven patterns for governed data services.
• Implement identity, authz, auditability, and credential management.
• Build automated validation, testing, deployment, and monitoring across environments.
• Collaborate with domain experts, PMs, governance teams, and engineers on controls.
• Establish observability for platform health and data quality results.
