AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer in Monterrey to design and scale core infrastructure. You will work with Python/TypeScript, AWS, and Kubernetes to build reliable platform services that support rapid growth and secure operations.

The role emphasizes distributed architecture, AI-native tooling, and collaboration with engineering and data science teams. Flexibility exists for home or office work, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST or gRPC.
• 1+ year of AWS and Kubernetes experience, with service mesh exposure.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (registry, streaming, event bus, caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code or similar.
• Excellent communication, fast learner, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Monitor, measure, and optimize system performance and reliability.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with security and ops excellence.
• Implement best practices and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to leadership.
