AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid growth. You will design reliable platform services, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and work with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

The role requires distributed architecture experience and comfort with AI-native tooling. You will contribute to a proactive, ownership-driven culture with opportunities for impact across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium or similar).
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, etc).
• 6+ months working with LLMs/AIOps tooling and Claude-based tooling.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with a focus on security.
• Implement best practices to optimize development processes and efficiency.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
