Leggett Dynamics seeks a Branch/Plant Controller to lead the financial planning cycle, manage accounting processes, and drive cost competitiveness for our manufacturing operations in Mexico. You will coordinate close, audits, and regulatory reporting while developing the local finance team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in finance within industrial manufacturing in Mexico, with managerial experience and CPA/CMA qualifications; MBA is preferred. Fluency in English is expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Professional designation (CMA, CPA); MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in Mexico, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Experience in financial close, internal controls, internal and external audit management, ad hoc analysis, management reporting, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), taxation, treasury, working capital, payroll, cash flow management, costing and financial planning (forecasting, budget, long range planning).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities, employee development experience

Responsabilités

• Lead in the financial planning cycle - providing inputs and reviews in revenue, material, headcount, plant expenses, and working capital.
• Increase cost competitiveness and overall Branch/Plant performance.
• Leads the full scope of accounting and finance processes for a branch or collection of branches.
• Leading role in the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure local statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met; ensure policy and procedures adhere to internal controls; lead internal/external audits.
• Serves as primary contact with Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.
• Leads, develops, and coaches local accounting and finance team.
