Job summary

talentiv is seeking a Plant Controller Jr to drive financial operations at one of its key manufacturing sites in Mexico. You will work hands-on with Operations to ensure accuracy, cost control, and strong business decision-making in a high-visibility environment.

The role focuses on plant reporting, month-end close, cost monitoring, budgeting, forecasts, and internal controls with opportunities to influence profitability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in controlling/finance within manufacturing environments.
• Strong plant finance, cost accounting, and operational analysis.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience.
• ERP SAP experience; advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency; automotive or industrial manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute plant financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Lead month-end close activities, including variance analysis and cost performance tracking.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including standard cost, BOMs, and cost centers.
• Partner with Operations to analyze productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the plant.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Support audits (internal and external) and ensure readiness of financial data.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to plant leadership for decision-making.
