Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is seeking a Planning & Purchasing Supervisor to ensure timely material availability and to integrate purchasing, materials planning, and SIOP processes. The role balances customer demand with supplier capacity to meet on-time delivery, inventory, cost, and service objectives.

Responsibilities include leading the SIOP process, maintaining the MPS, and aligning purchasing strategies with quality and service goals.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or specialized degree in planning/logistics/ purchasing. APICS preferred.
• 3–5 years Supply Chain experience
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Manufacturing background
• Understanding of SIOP process. Excel and SAP experience. ISO/IATF environments.
• Fully bilingual

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute the plant SIOP process.
• Balance customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities.
• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure execution of purchasing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and service objectives.
• Monitor supplier capacity and delivery performance to ensure compliance with the production plan.
• Track purchasing KPIs and develop preventive action plans to mitigate supply risks.
• Execute the MRP process ensuring optimal inventory levels and material availability.
• Define inventory strategies (safety stock, buffers, and strategic inventories).
• Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance to ensure sales plan execution.
• Lead and execute the plant SIOP process again to ensure consistency.
• Balance customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities again.
• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with business requirements again.

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Planning & Purchasing Supervisor.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. What you’ll do:

Primary Function: Ensure timely availability of materials and efficient execution of the production plan by integrating purchasing, materials planning, and SIOP processes, balancing customer demand with internal and supplier capacity to meet On Time Delivery, inventory, cost, and service objectives.

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:

Preferred Education Level:

• * Bachelor’s Degree in Business or specialized degree in planning/logistics/ purchasing. APICS preferred.

Years and Area of Experience Required:

• * 3-5 years Supply Chain experience / 2 year´s of experience in a leadership role
• * Manufacturing background
• * Understanding of SIOP process. Knowledge of Excel and SAP experience. Experience working in ISO/IATF environments.
• * Fully bilingual

Soft Skills:

• * Administrative skills (organizational and time management). Problem solving and cross functional skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Results and detail oriented.
• * Accountability, effective communication, teamwork, and initiative.
