AlertMedia, Inc. in Mexico City is seeking an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to build and manage payroll, benefits, HRIS, time and attendance, and vendor coordination for our Mexico workforce.

You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and a smooth employee experience while collaborating with Global HR Operations, Finance, Legal, and external providers. The role requires strong attention to detail, Spanish and English fluency, and hands-on experience with Mexican payroll processes.

Formación

• 3+ years in HR Operations or payroll in Mexico.
• Hands-on payroll experience with Mexican payroll processes.
• Knowledge of IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA/SIPARE, PTU, aguinaldo, and related obligations.
• Experience administering HRIS and payroll systems; Rippling a plus.
• Experience coordinating benefits with payroll vendors.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own the end-to-end payroll cycle including collecting, validating, and reporting payroll-impacting incidents, preparing pre-payroll inputs for review and approval, reviewing outputs and reconciling employee data, coordinating corrections with our payroll provider, and provide employee payroll and pay slip support.
• Coordinate recurring Mexico payroll and social security requirements, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA/SIPARE, PTU, aguinaldo, vacation premium, and related obligations.
• Administer Mexico HRIS and employee records, including PTO, absences, schedules, time and attendance, and employee changes, and maintain complete, accurate, audit-ready documentation (including IMSS affiliation/AFIL records) to support recurring compliance and audit activities.
• Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including Major Medical Insurance and meal vouchers, from enrollment and employee changes through ongoing vendor administration and new-hire onboarding.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for Mexico HR vendors, including payroll, benefits, and meal voucher providers, tracking deliverables, deadlines, open items, and routine issue resolution.
• Serve as a first-line HR Operations resource for Mexico employees and help document, simplify, and continuously improve People processes as the team grows.
• Contribute to AlertMedia's culture and values by supporting the Regional HR Manager with the coordination and execution of Mexico employee experience initiatives, including Tuesday Lunch, team events, and other special activities.
