Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Payroll Audit Sr Coordinator based in Monterrey, MX to coordinate critical payroll operations, governance, and controls, ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulations while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Vendors.

You will own SOPs, DTPs, process flows, and KPI dashboards, drive standardization across regions, and mentor Analysts to strengthen payroll accuracy and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, HR, Info Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in Payroll Operations, Internal Controls, Compliance, Audit, Shared Services, or HR Operations.
• Experience managing payroll controls, governance, documentation, and compliance programs.
• Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, control testing, and remediation.
• Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Solid to advanced English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of payroll operational activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and controls.
• Monitor performance, workload distribution, and process compliance across teams.
• Escalate complex issues and payroll exceptions to stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between Payroll Ops, Vendors, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Lead standardization of payroll controls across processes, regions, and teams.
• Establish governance routines to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Own payroll process documentation including SOPs and narratives.
• Monitor KPIs, control metrics, and service performance trends.
• Develop executive dashboards and presentations on performance and risks.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Analysts and Sr. Analysts.
