PepsiCo is seeking a Control & Reporting Analyst (Accountant) in Mexico City to support month-end close and financial reporting across multiple areas. You will validate data, assist with journal entries, and help manage intercompany charges with markets worldwide.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP knowledge, the ability to work under pressure during close periods, and effective communication with colleagues at all levels.

Formación

• Experience with US GAAP, internal control environment and SOX compliance.
• 1–2 years in financial statement prep and reporting in a large, multi-unit company.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels, including international teams.
• Strong knowledge of core processes (Bank, AP, FA, AR, GL, Intercompany, Financial Reporting).
• Familiarity with SAP, HFM and FDM ERP systems is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform data validations, reconciliations, and checks for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist month-end close activities: journal entries, uploads, schedules, variance explanations.
• Support Intercompany processes: review charges, reconciliations, and follow-up with markets.
• Prepare reports, trackers, and analyses required by management.
• Document processes and update SOPs when tasks are temporarily reassigned.
• Collaborate with teams across countries to resolve items and meet deadlines.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement to optimize workflows and efficiency.
