Fedex in Veracruz, Mexico, is seeking a payroll support specialist to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing across federal and local requirements. You will handle inquiries, maintain confidential records, and work with HR and Finance to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication in English to support vendors and employees. Experience in payroll systems and data entry is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a high-volume transactional environment (payroll, accounting, data entry, information systems, or customer service).
• Related experience may offset education requirements; related education may offset experience requirements.
• Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step written instructions and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely and accurate disbursement of employee wages according to policies and procedures.
• Support accurate and timely payment of federal, state, and local payroll taxes and liabilities.
• Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees, vendors, and taxing authorities.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
