The Outloud Group is seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant to join a remote accounting team. You will process creator invoices, manage tax forms, and keep our records precise and audit-ready during peak season.

You’ll work about 20 hours weekly, collaborating with an automation contractor to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks. The role emphasizes reliability and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• 1+ year accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Familiarity with W-9s and W-8s or ability to learn them quickly.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Fast learner who can work independently after onboarding.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy.
• Handles sensitive financial and personal information with discretion.
• Clear, professional written communication in English.
• Able to commit to an average of 20 hours per week.
• Able to work independently in a remote team.
• Bonus points if you have experience with U.S.-based companies, Salesforce, Ramp, or Excel/Google Sheets.
• Interest in automation or AI tools, or experience using them in finance work.

Responsibilities

• Process creator invoices accurately and on time
• Collect, review, and file creator tax forms (W-9s and W-8s)
• Respond to creator, vendor, and internal emails about invoices, payments, and documentation
• Enter and update records in QuickBooks Online
• Keep records organized, complete, confidential, and audit-ready
• Partner with our automation contractor to test new workflows, flag issues, and help document how they work
