Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Monterrey, Nuevo León, seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support labor relations and operational HR services for manufacturing teams. You will manage compliance, attendance, turnover analysis, onboarding and offboarding, and payroll-related incidents.

Collaborate with supervisors and unionized staff, maintain records, and drive actions to improve workforce stability and performance while upholding company policies and labor regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Proven labor relations experience in operations/manufacturing.
• Experience working with unionized employees.
• Strong knowledge of labor regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up on labor-related issues affecting operational employees.
• Serve as primary contact between employees and the company for labor relations.
• Maintain application of Internal Work Rules and company policies.
• Support supervisors and managers in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Monitor staffing headcount and absenteeism/turnover metrics.
• Prepare periodic HR and operations reports.
