Job summary

Valmont Industries in Apodaca, NL, Mexico is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive labor relations support and oversee payroll, staffing, and employee services across operations. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, administer onboarding/offboarding, and act as a trusted liaison between employees and management.

Strong English skills, a bachelor's degree in HR-related field, and at least four years of experience in labor relations within manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in labor relations within an operational/manufacturing environment and with unionized employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor relations management and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Serve as primary contact between employees and the company for labor relations matters.
• Monitor absenteeism and turnover and develop improvement strategies.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and personnel changes.
• Process payroll incidents and coordinate with Payroll team.
• Coordinate transportation and cafeteria services for employees.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Work Rules and company policies.
• Assist in performance management processes.
