Unlimit in Mexico City is seeking an onboarding specialist to manage merchant, business, and crypto account onboarding, including KYC/KYB procedures. You will coordinate documents, act as main client contact, and apply strong product and technical knowledge to support client launches.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, working with Risk and AML, and identifying onboarding inefficiencies to propose improvements.

Formación

• University degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of onboarding, account management, or customer support experience.
• Experience in payments, acquiring, banking, financial services, or crypto preferred.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Onboard merchants, business accounts, individual accounts, and crypto clients with KYC/KYB.
• Prepare and coordinate onboarding agreements and documentation.
• Act as main client contact throughout onboarding lifecycle.
• Understand clients' business models, including crypto use cases, with strong product/tech knowledge.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships for excellent client experience.
• Manage end-to-end merchant/account registration with internal teams and contractors.
• Work with Risk and AML to meet regulatory and internal standards; provide first-line approvals.
• Conduct due diligence checks and assess business, operational, and compliance risks.
• Support technical setup, including terminal and account configuration; suggest process improvements.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Managing the onboarding of merchants, business accounts, individual accounts, and crypto clients, including KYC/KYB procedures
• Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating agreements and onboarding documentation
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely progress
• Gaining a deep understanding of clients’ business models, including crypto-related use cases, and applying strong product and technical knowledge
• Building and maintaining professional, long-term relationships to ensure an excellent client experience
• Managing the end-to-end merchant and account registration process with internal teams and external contractors
• Working closely with Risk and AML teams to ensure all client profiles meet regulatory and internal compliance standardsProviding first-line approvals as part of the company’s first line of defense
• Conducting due diligence (DD) checks and assessing business, operational, and compliance risksSupporting or performing technical setup, including terminal and account configuration where applicableIdentifying onboarding inefficiencies and proactively suggesting process improvements

About you:

• University degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 1 year of experience in onboarding, account management, or customer support, preferably within payments, acquiring, banking, financial services, or crypto-related industries
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and management levels
• Ability to work independently with excellent organizational and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• Ability to understand complex structures and see the broader business and risk picture
• Flexible and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Technical knowledge or experience is considered an advantage
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain-based products, or virtual asset services is a strong plus
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required
