Unlimit is a cutting-edge fintech seeking a Technical Card Scheme Manager to own Acquiring in the Mexico/LATAM region. You will manage Prosa, Mastercard, Visa integrations and work closely with schemes, partners and banks to launch new card methods.

You will collaborate with Card Processing, Settlement, Finance and Legal teams to ensure compliant, scalable solutions. Fluent English is required and the role is based in Mexico.

Formación

• Experience with payments lifecycle and ISO messaging standards.
• Experience certifying products with Card Schemes.
• Experience with Mandatory changes of Card schemes.
• Understanding CID and REDMX domestic rules.
• Knowledge of Visa/MasterCard rules.
• Knowledge of settlement and reconciliation with card schemes.
• Ability to communicate with card schemes, vendors, partners and banks.
• Strong technical and project management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end managing acquiring: Prosa, Mastercard, Visa, etc.
• Review and escalate payments acceptance issues.
• Analyze card schemes documentation and mandates.
• Develop internal manuals and instructions.
• Review settlements and reconciliation.
• Escalation point for operations support.
• Document business and technical requirements.
• Execute test plans for new products with go-to-market teams.
• Build relationships with card schemes (Prosa, MasterCard, Visa, Elo).
• Provide day-to-day product delivery and quality management.
• Monitor product status and roadmap risks.
• Drive post-launch look-backs and process improvements.
• Analyze card scheme invoices monthly with Finance and Reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with card scheme changes and regulatory.

About the role

Unlimit is the most cutting-edge payment company providing a unique and high-tech suite of solutions to e-commerce merchants and card issuing products.

As part of our dynamic growth, we seek a Technical Card Scheme Manager with proven experience and expertise in Card Acquiring.

In this role, you will be responsible for support of existing Card methods as well as the development and launch of new Acquiring card methods with focus on the Mexico and LATAM region working closely with Card Schemes (Prosa / Visa / MC and other Schemes), Partners, Vendors.

To help accomplish your responsibilities, you will work closely with the Card Processing team, Settlement team , Finance team, PSP, Legal, Acquiring team, Analytics teams, Banking team and other department will be involving in the acquiring setup or process for Acquiring.

This position expects a lot of communication with Card schemes, external stakeholders, and partners.

The vacancy expects working from Mexico office.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of Acquiring: Prosa, Mastercard, Visa and etc. including the technical implementation and analyze of the technical documentation
• Support payments acceptance related reviews and escalations
• Analysis of technical documentation of card schemes and mandates
• Develop manuals and instructions for internal departments
• Analysis of card schemes settlement & reconciliation
• Support the operation of our existing solutions as an escalation point for internal teams
• Effectively document business/technical requirements and understand operational processes
• Execute test plans for new products and work closely with go to market teams to deliver working features
• Develop relationship with card schemes (Prosa / MasterCard / Visa / Elo / and etc.) as part of the implementation of Cards payment methods
• Operational support for launched Acquiring products
• Provide day-to-day product delivery and quality management
• Ensure awareness of product status and roadmap risks across the group
• Drive post-launch look-backs and internal process improvements
• Analyze Card Scheme invoices in detail on a monthly basis to ensure that the assigned fee is billed correctly, analyzing the costs in detail every month to ensure that the assigned budget is met and closely work with Finance and Reconciliation team
• Ensuring compliance with Mandatory Changes of Card Schemes and Regulatory

Requirements

• Proven experience with the payments lifecycle, including data messaging standards (ISO)
• Proven experience in the certification of products with Card Schemes
• Proven experience working with Mandatory changes of Card schemes
• Proven experience and understanding of CID and REDMX domestic rules
• Knowledge of card schemes rules (Visa / MasterCard, etc)
• Knowledge of card schemes settlement and reconciliation processes
• Must be able to talk knowledgeably with card schemes, vendors, partners and banks who live and breathe payments every day
• Good technical and project management skills
• Passionate about the acquiring & issuing industry
• Fluent in English

• Knowledge/working experience with LATAM markets
• Proven experience and understanding of the implementation of acquiring related products
• Portuguese speaking
