Job summary

Flex is seeking a Process Engineer located in Juarez Sur to support teams building great products. The role reports to a Process Engineer and involves implementing designs, procuring and deploying capital equipment, and overseeing new process equipment production in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have intermediate English, typically hold a bachelor’s degree, and will drive safety, productivity and yield improvements while advancing manufacturing techniques and process

Qualifications

• Requires intermediate English proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Implements safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Improves manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Develops and maintains process documentation.
• Reviews processing methods.
• Interfaces with production for new process implementation and transfer.
• Assists in training of production personnel during new technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
