Job summary

Amazon Logistics Mexico seeks an Automation Project Engineer to own deployments of automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) into its Delivery Station Network in Mexico City, with travel across MX and occasional international trips.

The role requires design, project management, installation, commissioning and ramp-up tracking, partnering with Process Engineering, Operations, Facilities and other Engineering teams to deploy advanced automation across the last mile network.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years in engineering roles in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Design and own automation deployments for MX last mile operations.
Author business cases to introduce automation and improve performance.
Provide technical documentation (flow diagrams, layouts, installation details, schedules, budgets).
Support lessons-learned program for next-gen design iterations.
Detail integration plans for MHE automation with design and controls teams.
Support installation of new MHE with field teams and scalable deployment approach.
Develop and implement service and maintenance concepts for AMZL field teams.
