Job summary

Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco, a member of the Hyatt family, is seeking a skilled Mixologist to open and lead the property's beverage program. You will oversee the bartending team, craft premium cocktails, and deliver guest experiences that reflect luxury hospitality.

Fluent in English and Spanish, you will train staff, manage inventory and POS systems, and work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury hotel or hospitality.
• Formal certification in Mixology or proven experience managing high-end cocktail programs (IBA).
• Advanced knowledge of spirits, mixology techniques, beverage trends, and food and beverage pairing.
• Proficiency in inventory management tools and POS systems.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate teams in the proper execution of mixology programs.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Flexible schedule availability; rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

As Mixologist, you will contribute to ensure the quality and service excellence of the property's mixology program, leading the bartending team with empathy and dedication to deliver exceptional beverages, create memorable experiences, and foster genuine connections with both guests and fellow bartenders.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.

Proficiency in inventory management tools and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Ability to train, coach, and motivate teams in the proper execution of mixology programs.

Proactive attitude with a strong focus on service excellence and enhancing the guest experience.

Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.

Flexible schedule availability.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
