Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mine Closure Project Manager for our Mexico City office. You will lead mine closure plans, mentor staff, and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to deliver compliant, on-schedule projects for clients in the private and public sectors.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in mine closure/remediation, a civil/geotechnical/environmental engineering background, and strong leadership with regulatory savvy. Relocation assistance is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 8+ years of mine closure/remediation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine closure plans and remediation projects for LATAM clients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet regulatory and technical requirements.
• Manage project scope, budget and schedule.
• Develop client proposals and support business development.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety culture on projects.
