Go Rhino is seeking a Warehouse Leader to define and execute our warehouse strategy in the Jalisco region. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, shipping, and inventory control while driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You will lead supervisors, establish KPIs, coach teams, and collaborate with Planning, Production, Finance, and Quality to optimize material flow and warehouse performance.
Experience in Lean, Kaizen, and Industry 4.0 initiatives is preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Define and execute the warehouse strategy aligned with logistics objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Establish standards, procedures, and controls across warehouse operations.
  • Evaluate capacity and develop plans to support growth.
  • Optimize layouts, locations, material flow, and space utilization.
  • Ensure continuity and respond to changing business needs.
  • Lead and develop Warehouse and Inventory Control Supervisors.
  • Set goals, KPIs and accountability for the warehouse.
  • Develop high-performing teams through coaching and succession planning.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and development of warehouse staff.
  • Promote safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer service.
  • Staffing and resource planning to meet organizational needs.
  • Establish inventory accuracy strategies and reduce discrepancies.
  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse ops.
  • Promote Industry 4.0/5.0 solutions and data-driven processes.
  • Lead multidisciplinary warehouse improvement projects.
  • Utilize 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Define and monitor warehouse KPIs and corrective actions.
  • Analyze performance and manage productivity and labor utilization.
  • Assess resource needs based on demand and capacity.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Monitor performance against business objectives.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Finance, Quality, EHS, HR, and Material Control.

Define and execute the warehouse strategy aligned with overall Material Control & Logistics objectives.

Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material handling, picking, staging, shipping, inventory control, and material flow.

Establish operational standards, procedures, controls, and best practices across warehouse operations.

Evaluate current and future warehouse capacity requirements and develop action plans to support business growth.

Optimize warehouse layouts, storage locations, transit locations, material flow, and space utilization.

Ensure operational continuity and effective response to changes in business requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse and Inventory Control Supervisors.

Establish clear goals, KPIs, expectations, and accountability for the warehouse organization.

Develop high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, training, and succession planning.

Participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development of warehouse personnel.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Identify organizational needs and ensure appropriate staffing and resource levels.

3. Inventory Excellence

Establish and maintain strategies to achieve high inventory accuracy.

Lead initiatives to reduce inventory discrepancies, excess inventory, material loss, and operational risks.

Monitor cycle count performance and ensure timely investigation and resolution of discrepancies.

Ensure alignment between system information and physical inventory.

Partner with Planning, Finance, Production, and Material Control teams to improve inventory performance.

Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.

Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, material flow, and cost.

Promote Industry 4.0 / 5.0 solutions, automation, digital tools, and data-driven processes.

Lead multidisciplinary teams in warehouse improvement projects.

Utilize 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, and Kaizen methodologies.

5. Performance & Cost Management

Define, implement, and monitor warehouse KPIs.

Analyze operational performance and establish corrective and preventive actions.

Manage warehouse productivity and labor utilization.

Evaluate resource requirements based on operational demand and capacity.

Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising safety, quality, or service.

Monitor warehouse performance against established business objectives.

6. Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, quality, 5S, and operational standards.

Establish and maintain safe warehouse practices and material-handling procedures.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, forklifts, scanners, racks, docks, ramps, and other assigned resources.

Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Documentation Practices.

Lead the response and closure of internal and external audit findings.

Promote a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse organization.

7. Cross-Functional Leadership

Work closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, Finance, Quality, EHS, Human Resources, and Material Control & Logistics.

Coordinate strategies to ensure material availability and effective warehouse support to production and customers.

Participate in strategic meetings related to capacity, inventory, material flow, operational performance, and business requirements.

Communicate warehouse performance, risks, opportunities, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Promote effective use of ERP and warehouse management systems.

Ensure alignment between physical warehouse operations, system transactions, master data, and storage locations.

Lead initiatives to improve warehouse visibility through technology, automation, scanners, and digital tools.

Support implementation of new systems, processes, and technologies that improve operational performance.
