TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced Materials and Internal Logistics Manager in Ciudad Juárez. You will develop and execute materials management and inventory strategies to ensure material availability for production while optimizing inventory levels and costs.

You will lead warehouse operations, monitor MRP, and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to sustain business continuity and drive enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years in materials management, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and execute materials management and inventory strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials, components, indirect materials, and spare parts.
  • Manage inventory policies, cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to maintain high accuracy.
  • Monitor MRP activities and demand planning processes.
  • Lead warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material handling, picking, staging, and production replenishment.
  • Optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, storage utilization, and internal transportation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Partner with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams to support business continuity.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve performance targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop materials and logistics teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, automation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Promote effective use of ERP, WMS, and data analytics tools.

Job Overview

Analyzes and develops logistics plans to control the movement of commodities from storage to distribution and to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Job Requirements
  • Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
  • Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in materials management, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • 5+ years leading teams in manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Strong experience with MRP, inventory management, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Knowledge
  • MRP, Inventory Management, WMS, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Supply Chain Metrics, and Warehouse Operations.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance Standards.

Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
